Completed lab safety, and carried out a test experiment to evaluate the physiological conditions of oysters. This was done by prepping a 0.1 M solution of resazurin, and then filling a sample tray with 2 mL of the solution. Then, oysters were added to the tray, where one column was controlled oysters, stressed oysters, and a pure resazurin solution. A spectrophotometer was used to track changes in color over time/the concentration of oxygen. Measurements were taken every 15 minutes for 2 hours, and no noticeable color change was found. The data was also extracted as an excel file, and posted to github.
